Today starts the second part of Helen's journal - August 1973 to September 1974. An interesting time in history, and on the farm. Honk and Helen are both in their seventies at this point, but they haven't slowed down too much ...
There was a table at the back of the diary for 1954, apparently showing egg sales. I say apparently because I can't puzzle out either the quantity produced or the price per dozen. Here's the table in any case - if anybody can figure this out, by all means let me know!
